General Manager- Washington, DC and Northbrook, IL

Our growth has created new career opportunities and we’re searching for our next General Managers to join our talented team.  We’re looking for someone to execute training, coaching, and development of team members, ensure the safety of our guests through training and execution of food safety and restaurant safety standards, manage financial areas of the restaurant, and respond to customer components including excellent food quality, customer service, team member friendliness and restaurant cleanliness. This person must understand the importance of providing excellent customer service, have a strong work ethic, have a high level of integrity and be able to build and inspire a team.  A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a GM role preferred.

We have a solid strategic plan for growing our business.  The Marketing Coordinator will support the implementation of a number of key initiatives, including:

  • Local store marketing
  • New store openings
  • In-store marketing
  • Email marketing

 

Problem Solver

We are looking for a smart person can help us get a lot smarter on a number of fronts.

  • Research potential marketing initiatives and present analysis and recommendations
  • Generate innovative ideas for enchanting customers
  • Willingness and desire to learn and develop expertise in new areas (e.g. nutrition, mobile marketing…)
  • Conduct competitive analysis

Organizational Dynamo

We abhor bureaucracy, but we love clear communication.  The Marketing Coordinator will help keep the Marketing department on track and in touch with all of our partners.

  • Maintain Marketing Calendar
  • Track marketing program results
  • Update our website (non-technical), Yelp, Google and other online listings

Restaurant Managers are accountable for all operational aspects of the day-to-day business, including but not limited to, providing superior food quality, employee relations, hiring and development, customer satisfaction, profitability, operational systems and controls, execution of marketing and promotional programs, quality control, and sanitation in accordance with health, safety and code regulations.
